According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 58.5 million U.S. adults suffered from arthritis from 2013-2015. That’s about one in four U.S. adults with women being impacted more commonly than men. The Mayo Clinic defines arthritis as the swelling and tenderness of one or more of your joints. The main symptoms are joint pain and stiffness and this typically worsens as we get older.
